Hengshun Zhongsheng and Ocean University of China entered into the Agreement on Entrusted Cultivation of Students from Zimbabwe on the afternoon of July 14. At the signing ceremony were present by Vice Chairman of the Group Jia Yulan, President Jia Xiaoyu, Officer in charge of Zimbabwe & South Africa company, Member of Standing Committee of CPC and Vice President of Ocean University of China Li Weiran, Head of International Cooperation and Exchange Dept. Song Wenhong, Dean of Office of Teaching Affairs Fang Zhiqi and Deputy General Secretary of CPC Branch Committee of Directly Subordinated Department and Executive Vice President of Institute of International Education Qin Shanghai and other leaders.

Vice Chairman Jia Yulan delivered a speech in the signing ceremony. “Ocean University of China is a key comprehensive university under direct administration of the Education Ministry of the People's Republic of China and also one of the universities first receiving foreign students. Ocean University of China is huge and grand with complete range of disciplines, wealth of talents and strong ability of scientific research. Through friendly cooperation with Ocean University of China, with complementary advantages, we are bound to cultivate many brilliant transitional talents who will make contribution to cultural exchanges between China and Zimbabwe,” she said.

Vice president Li Weiran stated, “Hengshun Zhongsheng Group, as a far-sighted local enterprise in Qingdao, has actively expended overseas business to South Africa, Zimbabwe, Indonesia, Thailand and Laos by engaging in "The Belt and Road” construction. While pursuing advancement in economic field, Hengshun Zhongsheng values exchanges and cooperation in education through sponsoring foreign students to study in China, assuming social responsibility and contributing to the country. This university-enterprise cooperation marks the next step in a new chapter for cultivation of international talents. We will take joint effort, share resources and complementary advantages to promote Sino-Africa friendship based on the principle of serving major task of CPC and the country and in pursuit of cultivation of international talents who will know China, love China, help China and build China.”

President Jia Xiaoyu on behalf of the Group and President of Ocean University of China signed the Agreement. According to him, cooperation between Hengshun Zhongsheng and Ocean University of China starts with cultivation of these foreign students, and will extend to an overall level in ocean, sea products, agriculture and other technical fields and personnel recruitment.
